Massage & Bodywork by Danielle
Customized Massage Therapy for Your Unique Needs

Welcome!
Hailing all the way from the vibrant suburbs of Chicago, my journey into the healing arts began in the halls of National University of Health Sciences, in Lombard, IL. Balancing full-time work with night classes, I was driven by a dream that took root in childhood. At the age of 10, during a summer gymnastics camp, my 16-year-old counselor Amy (whom I practically worshiped) asked if could massage her neck because it was quite sore. To her surprise, as well as mine since I had no clue what I was doing, she felt significantly better and thus the seed was planted. I was then sent on a path toward helping and facilitating the healing of others, that I’ve proudly walked as a licensed professional for over 17 years.

Today, I bring that same passion and dedication to my practice in the Tampa Bay area, now focused on providing professional in-home services. My experience is diverse, having worked with chiropractors, in the bustling environment of the Hard Rock Casino and Tampa Bay Downs doing chair massage, and at various corporate events. I've also taught couples how to work on each other, as a fun way to connect and help relieve pain and discomfort. Beyond providing relief to clients, I’ve also taught fellow massage therapists how to prevent injury and burnout so they too can have a long-lasting career!

My approach is evidence-based, rooted in compassion and understanding. I am not a "fixer." I am a facilitator of wellness, aiding clients in feeling their best in body and mind. My life’s experiences have honed my ability to empathize, allowing me to connect with clients on a profound level, distinguishing my practice from others.

Creating a safe and positive environment is paramount, as each individual’s nervous system uniquely responds to touch and pressure. It’s my mission to ensure a beneficial session that extends its positive effects well beyond our time together. Informed consent and ongoing education are the bedrocks of my practice. I am committed to staying up to date of the latest in health and wellness, ensuring that I bring the most current and accurate information to my clients.

In recent years, my focus has broadened to include the understanding of how different kinds of trauma, "big T" as well as "little t" trauma, experienced at various stages in life, impacts us long-term, both mentally and physically. As I evolve into a trauma-informed massage therapist and bodyworker, my goal is to provide a holistic approach that addresses the intricacies of our well-being.

For those seeking a trusted partner in their health journey, I invite you to experience the transformative power of massage therapy and bodywork. Together, we can navigate your path to a more balanced and pain-free life!
Beyond the therapy room, my life is filled with the warmth of home, shared with three rescue kitties and a loving boyfriend. While my feline friends may momentarily forget me in his presence, the joy they bring is a constant reminder of life’s simple pleasures.

I am an avid reader, though I confess, my collection often grows faster than I can turn the pages, making me as much a curator of stories as I am a consumer. My love for science knows no bounds; I proudly wear the badge of a science nerd! Inspired by Bill Nye the Science Guy's wisdom that “Everyone you ever meet, knows something that you don’t,” I cherish the diverse tapestry of knowledge and experiences that my clients bring into my life.

Music fuels my soul, with a playlist as eclectic as my interests—ranging from the electric energy of 80s hair-metal to the soulful strains of 90s alternative, the timeless elegance of classical, the beats of old-school rap and hip-hop, a dash of country, and the nostalgic crooners of the 40s and 50s.

When not immersed in the world of healing, you might find me indulging in my guilty pleasures: pizza and ice cream or unwinding with my favorite medical TV dramas. These slices of life, these moments of joy, they all weave into the fabric of who I am, both as a massage therapist and as an individual!
